Finding an adapter for my discontinued strobe head has prevented me from using some clever lighting. I found a goofy little $15 adapter that I thought could work. To my delight, it does work! I fastened in my strobe head and attached the strip soft box and voila! I now have the light I want. This makes me so happy.

One of my favorite activities is definitely not gardening. Altho, once I get started it is hard to stop. One hour turns into three pretty fast.

I pull these out regularly, I call them bluebells but I know they are some kind of hyacinth, not my favorite. They populate wherever I don't want them, like weeds. I suppose, if my neighbors saw me (and how could they miss me on that ridge out front?) they'd think I'm nutty pulling out the only thing blooming right now in my front yard.

I put them directly into the yard waste bin and then thought better of it. Maybe they'll make a good still life?

Purple has always been difficult for me to photograph so I figured, I'll give it a go and get some practice.



I think in a field of nothing but bluebells, that would be beautiful.

Five years ago, I worked with Marie Chong & ARC Dance on this production.

celebrates 5 years of the Community Stages Fund initiative, which aims to amplify the voices of the Puget Sound area and give back to the community members who have helped shape and grow our region’s unique musical and cultural landscape.

The concert will feature ARC Dance in Marie Chong's Romeo & Juliet: A Cinematic Ballet and other past CSF grantees, alongside the Seattle Symphony.
