Got to share and celebrate my birthday weekend with the incredibly talented last week.

I find it so important, now more than ever, for artists speak to on and document the times they live in through their art, and Grandson is fully committed to that in everything he releases and stands for.

Not to mention he and his band put on one of the most rock n roll shows I’ve seen in a long time. Easy to say the crowd at S**O agreed from the energy in the room.

Also got to see and celebrate an early birthday for the one and only for the first time in way too long.

Loving life through increasingly uncertain times is not always easy, but surrounding yourself with good people, and being part of a community that supports and uplifts each other through everything while trying to make a difference is a pretty great way to get through it.

So much fun shooting with again the other day at with using some amazing new and lights and our always reliable cameras and lenses to promote Alex’s upcoming acoustic performance at Sound Bite lounge, a rooftop bar, on Friday January 31st, which I’m also producing.

Gear Appreciation‼️ Traveling and bringing my camera gear along has always been something I hesitate on, especially when trying to pack the perfect variety of lenses and extra batteries, and my computer, chargers, and hard drives into a bag I can carry on flights, or hike with comfortably. Luckily I was introduced to the VEO Range T45M by . I don’t see myself using any other bags any time soon!

As anyone would guess, if there’s an event that brings music and cameras together, I’m there. 🎸📸

I had the opportunity to get a hands on look at the new flagship A1 II and the impeccably sharp, FE 28 -70 F2 G Master Lens with crew .hawk and & at this awesome jam night hosted by , , and last week. 🙌

For lighting, we used the incredibly compact, yet powerful ML 100 BI from . It’s hard to find an excuse for dragging around any bigger lights when this versatile light does so much.💡⚡️

So grateful for this community of inspiring creators 🧡🖤
