Congrats Ryan + Adriana!

I was so excited to help Ryan plan his proposal in WA, especially since it would be his and Adriana's first time visiting!

We dove deep into possible location options, but as the time got closer, more and more variables seemed to be against us.

- The week prior to his proposal, the PNW was getting slammed with rain - way more (and earlier) than usual. This meant Mount Rainier was getting snow!
- The road to our planned trailhead actually closed 'temporarily' because of the snow, and we didn't know if it would open again.
- The potential government shutdown had us scrambling to find out if our trail would even be open or not!

With so many things against us, and with multiple backup plans in place, the day of the proposal was here... our trail was open, and there was nothing but sunny, clear skies in the forecast!

I hiked the trail early so I could play the part of a 'random hiker just enjoying the view, when really I had my camera gear stashed in the distance - out of sight, but ready to go when the time came.

Again, it could not have worked out more perfectly. Adriana said YES! We hung out the rest of the evening taking pictures, popping champagne, and hiking back down to our cars in the dark. An absolute perfect day at Mount Rainier!

After a super wet, rainy week in the PNW, I think I speak for everyone when we were all amazed at the bluebird day we had Saturday - just in time for Caitlin & Joe’s wedding! Did I mention unobstructed views of Mount Hood all day?

Congratulations Caitlin & Joe on such a beautiful day! I am so grateful our paths crossed, and excited for this new chapter in your lives!

Congrats Jamie & Lucy!!!

Jamie reached out a couple of months ago, excited to propose to Lucy. He was hoping for the North Cascades, but with the recent wildfires, we weren’t sure if that was going to be a possibility. Fast-forward to last week, and the weather looked to be in our favor! Since there’s no service on this trail (and most backcountry trails), we were in constant communication of our game plan. When the day finally came, it couldn’t have gone smoother! The weather was perfect, fall colors were starting to pop, and Lucy said YES!

These two were absolute champs. We wound up hiking a total of 10-11 miles total and made our way back down the trail with headlamps. I love getting to work with such adventurous couples ♥️

The two week countdown is ON for these two! We had an awesome time exploring Oregon earlier this year for their engagement session, and their wedding day is FINALLY just around the corner ♥️ So excited for these two!

Zach + Carly were so much fun to work with for their elopement! They wanted a low-key, but FUN day, and it was exactly that. I don’t think I’ve seen anyone laugh as much as Carly, and it makes my heart so full 🤣 Congratulations you two!!!
