Lindsay is someone who brings people together in a very real way. She is a community builder, but not in a surface sense. She cares about truth, and she is not afraid of meaningful conversations, even when they are uncomfortable.

What I admire most is how she listens to herself. When something matters, she pauses, places her hand on her chest, closes her eyes, and really checks in before she responds. And when she speaks, it feels grounded and honest. There is no performance in it, just clarity.

When I asked what she wanted to see in her portrait, she said playfulness and lightness. I wanted to hold both sides of her in the work: her depth and seriousness, and the softer, lighter energy that is also part of her.

This is exactly what the 40 over 40 campaign is about. Showing women as they are, fully layered, and celebrating both their strength and their humanity.

What I love most about the 40 Over 40 experience is watching women reconnect with parts of themselves they’ve been too busy to see.

The whole event felt so thoughtful — brunch, pop-ups, and a community of women supporting women. Even better knowing it also gave back to 🤍

I’m launching something special this March — my 40 Over 40 Portrait Campaign.

Over the years I’ve photographed women of all shapes, styles, and backgrounds. And every time I walk away thinking the same thing: women become even more interesting, powerful, and beautiful with time. And yet we don’t celebrate that nearly enough.

This project is about changing that.

It’s about celebrating real, everyday women in their 40s, 50s, 60s and beyond. Women with stories, experience, strength, and presence. Women who deserve to feel seen.

You don’t have to be a model.
You just have to be you. And I’ll show you how incredible that already is.

At the end of the project we’ll gather for a gallery-style celebration, where all the women who participated can come together, see the portraits, connect, and celebrate each other.
