Taylor + Keagan on a misty, summer day in the North Cascades 🌿

I’m always blown away with just how fun & easy going our couples are. For their elopement, T+K packed up at sunrise and headed up a rugged mountain road with Devin to soak in the day before the day even began. After spending a quiet morning, just the two of them, they said ‘I do’ in front of their favorite people and a glacier blue river.

Later, they shared toasts and happy tears over a meal before heading back out to explore a little more. Alpine lake, wildflowers, mountain views— yep, yep, yep. 🌼

What a fun, easy going day. Congrats to you two T+K! 🥂🤍

Shelby + Mark, the mountains drenched in Fall colors, an alpine lake to themselves, and all their favorite people by their side. What more could you ask for!? 🍁⛰️

When M+S first reached out they said they hoped for mountain backdrops, alpines lakes, and Fall colors. Well, I think it’s safe to say we found all three! We started the day shared with their family and friends celebrating their love over a meal and cake. Then we packed up and headed for the trail to find the Fall colors we were after. With their pup of honor 🐕, and closest friends by their side they shared their vows in front of the most stunning alpine lake.

M+S were actually part of another BtP elopement as guests back in 2022, and Kass photographed that elopement too 🥹 I know, cue the tears!!

Cheers to the sweetest humans— we are so stoked for you two and all the adventures to come! 🥾🍻

Does this landscape even look real to you?! 🤯 ⛰️ Because omg... the Tetons never disappoint.

Theres something about Grand Teton National Park that just makes sense for an elopement. The rugged landscape, the sharp, jagged mountains that light up with those pink hues of alpenglow — it feels secluded, adventurous, and intentional, the very things that so many couples are after when choosing to elope.

Although our team is based in Washington, we take a handful of elopements in the Tetons each year because this landscapes keeps calling us back (for obvious reason).

Would you elope in the Grand Tetons?!

A Fall day in the Pacific Northwest — wow wow wow 🤯 I could hardly believe my eyes when I saw these images that Meg captured at Mt Rainer. 🍂

Sierra & Sam took the day at their own pace, soaking in all the views around Mount Tahoma. From meandering around a quiet, old-growth forest, to hiking to the most epic viewpoint for sunset, they got to celebrate their love just the two of them — and the mountain as their witness.

Thanks for sharing the most magical evening with us, we are so stoked for you two!! 🥂 🎉

Victoria + Don and a moody, Fall day in the Olympics 🍁

One thing we love about the Olympics is that no matter the weather, Mother Nature shows off here. For V + D they got those moody twilight vibes that this area is so often known for, and it couldn’t have been more perfect.

These two began their day exploring the coast with Amy before heading to Lake Crescent for their intimate ceremony with family. After their I do’s, they hiked along the rainforest until they reached a dreamy waterfall embracing all the rain and fog along the way. They ended their day dancing in the rain — I know, literally how romantic?!

Congrats you two!! Cheers to many more adventures! ✨

You can comment “GUIDE” and we will send you a checklist on how to get started for dreaming up your very own best day ever. 🎉

We get it- elopements used to be a thing that was quite taboo. But friends…it’s 2026. 👀

It’s time we turned the page on the old school way of thinking because guess what? An elopement can be whatever you want it to be. ✨

Here’s what I mean:

🏔️You can elope in the mountains with just the two of you. The only guests are the pine trees and towering mountains.

🌲You can elope in the forest with your chosen family surrounding you. Afterwards, you can celebrate with a cozy dinner at a cabin tucked away in the pines.

🧊You can elope in Alaska and have a multi-day event. Day one you spend with family and friends that includes a ceremony and celebratory meal at a lodge. The next day you can lace up your hiking boots to explore the mountains and share your private vows with just your love.

🏕️You can choose a micro wedding with 30 guests so you have the best of both worlds- a wedding vibe mixed with the adventure of an elopement.

✈️You can elope in a dream destination, honeymoon while you’re at it, and when you get back home have a big backyard reception to celebrate with your community.

See what I mean? The wedding world is your oyster. You get to make the rules on how you and your love celebrate your wedding day. ✨

Is it adventure wedding season yet?! Because we are just over here counting down the days until we are back on the trails with our epic couples 🏔️

Would you believe me if I told you all of these views are ONE mountain range?! Each year we find ourselves here — in the North Cascades for over 40 elopements and adventure weddings. Can you see why?? This area in Washington is filled with old growth forests, wildflowers galore, a glacier blue river, cozy cabins, and of course endless jaw dropping mountain views. I know, its pure magic. ✨

And the best part?! It’s so incredibly accessible. Trails that are fully ADA accessible, dog friendly, paved roads that any vehicle can access during the summer months, and viewpoints that require a short hike. And of course there are trails that take you 5+ miles into the mountains, too! 🏔️ this area has adventure for every level, and you know we love that here at Between the Pine 🌲

We can’t wait to be back in the North Cascades this summer 🌄

But what if….? What if you did elope? You could bring some of your family and friends, you could elope just the two of you, you could have a big backyard reception back home…you can really do whatever feels right to you. ✨

Because here’s the thing- with elopements, there really aren’t any rules. I know, I know, that can be freeing and overwhelming, but that’s where we come it. 🫡

We’ve working with hundreds of couples over the last 8 years crafting their dream elopement day and then documenting it all. 📷

If the idea of an elopement feels like it just might be what you’ve been looking for, you can comment “elope” and we’ll send you a full guide to get started on planning an elopement! 🌿
