Another great photo shoot for artist, Cathy Sarkowsky. Cathy has been a client of mine for many, many years and I have always loved having her work in my studio. Cathy has an upcoming Vashon Holiday Art Studio Tour, which runs this Saturday and Sunday, December 3 - 4, as well as next Saturday and Sunday, December 10 - 11. Hours will be 10am - 4pm. I thought I should update my Facebook buisness page with some pretty pictures. One of the most popular styles of product photograph with online sellers such as Amazon are pure, clean photographs with a white background so sellers can upload their images on any white themed website. If you have ever seen gray square borders around a product online, it is because these images were not really on a pure white background. There are many shades of gray.

I just wanted to post a few recent photos of products on a pure white background as you might find on Amazon. As a matter of fact, I have had a slew of new customers wanting just that: photographs to be used on Amazon. Though the boom of Amazon on our fair city has perhaps jacked up the price of, well just about everything, it is also bringing a lot of customers to my door who need great product photos to stay ahead of their competition. I will take the good with the bad.

Photographing glass is always a challenge, but one I gladly take on. Happy to post some new photographs from my last shoot. Nina Casson McGarva is truly an amazing glass artist! Nina is a French artist of British descent who began learning skills in glass art at the national French Glass School and later The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. I look forward to working with her again.
