NOTICE:
We have tried to hold off on raising prices to help our clients with rising costs and provide a greater value as a way to thank them and create some value after a long COVID pandemic period, but the reality of things made it necessary to revisit and adjust our prices. We also listen, try out new things, and then make adjustments based on experience and feedback. With recent equipment upgrades, process requirements, increased shipping costs, increased framing costs, and increased material and living costs, we have had to make these adjustments. However, the good news is it is not as bad as one may think. It makes us sad to be less affordable, but inflation and events often have businesses make these tough choices.
For example, our canvas upgrade/framing cost was at $350 and now is $500.
We are also going to change how we do our session and starting print pricing. While our appointments for design, ordering, framing, session, and delivery were a separate cost, they are now included in the price with a portrait credit. So that now $600 value is included in the price with a print credit. Our minimum Session/print credit is now $500. Additional upgrades are available with add on specials if applicable. So in the old way of thinking, you could consider this a $250 session fee and a $250 portrait package price to start, which is actually a great deal since many of my competitors charge $600-700 for the same thing. We still want you to give us a try, and those who want to keep it simple, this is a way that things can still be affordable and a win for everyone.
Don't like pricing? Take advantage of our likely one time only $100 certificate with certificate proceeds going 100% charity for a limited time and some restrictions. We have a few available and after they are sold out, the $500 option is the only one available. This certificate comes with a portrait and a session/appts at a $400 savings!!
Our 40% session fee offered to select community partners such as FCA, HPIC, Fauntleroy UCC, WS Chamber, and FOE Eagles will be honored till the end of the year and include a portrait credit now.
NOTE: Also, after our event we are doing for The Taste of West Seattle benefitting the West Seattle Food Bank, we are discontinuing events, photo booth, weddings, commercial, and some headshot gigs focusing more on individual, couple, children, pet, family, and creative portraits. We realized as we age and our skills are best applied to custom portraits vs these other types that is no longer or was never a good fit for how we work. We have enjoyed helping charities, friends, the community, and loved ones, but there are plenty of photographers that still do these types of photography professionally. If you need a recommendation, we have some names and sources for leads!!
Thank you for your support, business, and helping others through our business of making custom art and portraits. We enjoy this labor of love since 2007 and will hopefully continue on for another decade offering this important service of preserving precious memories for the community.
