I Can’t Afford a House, but I Can Dream About a Dollhouse.

I wandered through the PNW Miniature Show and found myself surrounded by tiny homes, tiny gyms, and dolls smaller than my finger nail. — all someone else’s perfect little world.

From recreating my old apartment in The Sims 2 to eyeing dollhouse bookshelves I can’t afford, I realized these little worlds scratch the same itch: building the perfect space when reality feels cramped, messy, or temporary.

I’ve been attending conventions for almost twenty years.

Then I learned the 6–2–1 Rule:
Six hours of sleep.
Two proper meals.
