If you’re new here, hi I’m Lauren! I’m a Seattle-based documentary style photographer who loves capturing people as they really are: the small interactions, the in-between moments, the stuff that feels like real life.

A few fun things about me:

• I’m matcha obsessed!! I’ve been a dedicated matcha girl since 2019. Seattle has been opening so many new gems that make my heart so happy. Yoka tea over in Madrona has been a recent fav 🫶🏼.

• By day, I’m a UX designer who focuses on design systems. I spend a lot of time thinking about color accessibility and color theory, which honestly plays a huge role in how I edit. I love finding tones that feel natural, intentional, and true to the moment.

• Lately you can find me at Solidcore in Capitol Hill. Come take a class with me and we can bond over sore obliques, and Jiyun’s pope techno playlist.

I’m all about creating a comfortable space, documenting stories, and making photos that feel like you. Super thankful for this past year and all the clients stories that I was able to capture :))

Reminiscing on this beautiful June day 🫶🏼

Maddy and Jack’s wedding was straight out of a garden party dream — soft sunlight, incredible pizza, and the people who mean the most to them gathered close. It was intimate, heartfelt, and so full of joy. So grateful I got to capture it all for an old friend!

Okay so this proposal, I’m still not over it!!
Back in march, Sawyer pulled off the most iconic winter surprise at franklin falls.

Sawyer, my husband Aaron and my dog Forrest did a snowy hike while Danelle + her bestie Hillary (in town from san diego!) started the trail later.

The plan? I pretended i was just out on a solo hike while Sawyer + Aaron were “skiing” at Apental. Then, I “ran into” Danelle + Hillary, took a few cute pics of them bc Hillary was visiting… and boom, Sawyer came out of the woods and proposed eeek!!

So much joy, so many happy tears, and such a dreamy winter backdrop. Danelle had no clue and it was perfect.
