Skye was out of this worldddd! It’s hard to choose just a few photos. And the sheep. I could make an entire calendar of just photos of sheep because I could not stop taking photos of them.
After our hike in Glencoe, we headed to Eilean Donan castle to explore, realizing we were sorta close to Skye and may as well wander that way since we pretty much went completely off itinerary anyway. We found some food and settled down near Portree for the night.
At sunrise we headed out to hike The Storr, we were lucky to be there early enough in the day to have the trail mostly to ourselves and two others and got to experience rain, snow, and sun!
We walked all throughout Portree to find new batteries for my film camera with no luck but got to see so much of Portree and the cute homes surrounding it, found & ate so many goodies, explored the fairy glen, and finished the day off hiking Quairing - Which was a lot, lot, of walking for one day, I’m not even sure how we fit all that in. But we were fueled by a strong moka pot roast and beautiful views.
