To be totally transparent with all of you… there are a lot of things I don’t know about this relocation yet. When we’ll leave, when orders will come, where we’ll land, or when I’ll reopen bookings.

AHHH!!!🤩 Madeline invited me back for the third time to capture another layer of her story: the first was a milestone with her son. The second, with her husband. And this time — with a very dear friend.

That’s not something I take lightly.🤍

Sharing one more chapter of her story right before Valentine’s Day, to celebrate friendship. The kind that holds your hands mid-swing, laughs loud and doesn’t care who’s watching. 𝗔 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 🌿these are the moments that shape a mother’s heart.

P.S. I get it.😭 I know how easily life can feel like it’s passing right over us. In the in-between moments: folding their laundry or, running to the store because they suddenly jumped a size. Trimming their nails and realizing, again, how different they look, how much they’ve grown.

It all happens right in front of us, and still, somehow, 𝘪𝘵 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘭 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩.🥹

When you invite me in, you’re not just hiring someone to photograph walking, snuggling, or smiling at the camera. You’re inviting another mother’s heart who notices those fleeting, precious details, the ones we’re always trying to 𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗼 a little longer.🫂

Closing one year and opening another with traveling families felt meaningful.
Almost like a whisper, not a push. It felt aligned.
Just a rhythm unfolding. Stewardship has a way of revealing themes.

I had the time of my life photographing families this way.
Not always directing a pose, but gently prompting connection.
Making space for real interaction. The kind that unfolds naturally and brings a smile to your face when you look back at it.

And yes… it might hint at our summer ahead 😉

Photography has become more than my stewardship and business. It continues to be medicine for my soul.

Over my trip home visiting family, we were able to have an extended family session before it was too late. That experience changed me. So this winter, receiving more extended family sessions than ever before feels deeply purposeful. Only God knows what it meant to me.

My heart truly finds value in preserving these moments for families, because time together is never something to take lightly.

If you’re ever considering an extended family session, know how deeply I value preserving that time for you.

Starting 2026 by celebrating 7 years of love with one of my favorite couples — The Padricks 🤍

None of this was planned.
And somehow, that makes it even sweeter.

Life gives us these moments—the ones you don’t schedule, but simply get to witness.

Watching their love grow has been such a gift.
Laughter, trust, quiet glances — their connection speaks for itself.

Being behind the lens for them has shown me how effortless real love is to capture when connection leads the way.
That’s the kind of story I live to tell.

Here’s to many more years of partnership, adventure, and joy together — a love that continues to grow and bless those around them 🤍

2026 is gonna look a lot different but one thing will remain the same I’m here to continue doing photography, stewarded with purpose.🫶🏽
