We got lucky with a gorgeous sunny day for a ferry ride from Seattle, but the reason for this trip on the ferry was the best part of my time spent with this incredibly sweet couple. One of my favorite details in these photos is that you can see the ring box in his back pocket in the photos leading up to his proposal 💍. I love my job because I get to capture memories like this on camera for my clients. To the happy couple: Thank you so much for spending the morning with me! It was such an honor to be part of this moment! Wishing you a beautiful life together. 🩵

Yesterday I had the honor of speaking at a conference with an architect friend that I do a lot of work for. When I’m not photographing humans being adorable and amazing, much of my job is heavily focused on architectural and business photography.

The opportunity to speak at the AFH Council’s marketing conference was an amazing experience. I met so many incredible caregivers and business owners yesterday, and I felt so fortunate to be able to share a little bit of my knowledge with them. 🩵

As a former professional ballroom dancer myself, I absolutely love working with dancers. This beautiful ballerina was such a joy to work with, and we had so much fun creating these gritty urban shots in downtown Seattle on a rainy, foggy morning. I have to say, her incredible talent and grace put my dance skills to shame.🩰
