It’s always been easier for me to tell someone else’s story than my own. Give me a camera and a room full of strangers, and I’m completely at home. Turn the attention toward me, though, and I’d much rather disappear behind the lens. :)
I’ve been a student of people for as long as I can remember, long before I became a photographer. Deeply observant, sometimes to a fault.
Nineteen years of photographing weddings has only deepened that curiosity, but life itself has probably been my greatest teacher. Everything I’ve experienced along the way has shaped how I see the world, and inevitably, what I notice when I pick up my camera.
Maybe that’s why it feels important to share a little more of myself here. Because the way I see the world has everything to do with the way I photograph it. 🤍
