Hey there! I’m Khou (pronounced like ku in haiku — but feel free to call me K!)
If we haven’t met yet, welcome! I’m a wedding and family photographer based in Seattle, Washington, and I genuinely LOVE what I do. Every day, I get to connect with some of the most amazing and fun people, and I don’t take that for granted — not one bit.
I was born and raised in Spokane, WA, and moved to Bellingham in 2012 for college. Fast forward a few years — I got engaged to my best friend in 2018 and married him in August 2020 (yep, a pandemic wedding!). We’ve since grown our little family with two beautiful kiddos: our daughter Gemma, who just turned 4 yesterday (still can’t believe it!), and our sweet baby boy Koah, born in December 2024. They’re my world, and I’m so thankful for their constant love and support.🩷
A little bit about me I have a deep love for flowers — whether it’s wild blooms on a trail, a fresh bouquet on my table, or even photos of florals from around the globe, they always brighten my spirit. When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll probably find me tending to my indoor plants, squeezing in a home workout, watching a good Netflix doc, or soaking up time with my kids.
My goal this year is to connect and expand. Whether that means jumping into styled shoots, reconnecting with past clients, or meeting new ones, every connection is meaningful and helps me grow in more ways than one.
Personal goal, I’m on a journey to feel stronger and healthier. I’ve been loving weightlifting and daily walks — it’s my kind of self-care. If you have any workouts that you enjoy, let me know! I want to try pilates, so someone please send me some recommendations! 😁
I’m endlessly grateful for every client, friend, and family member who’s let me be part of their story. Photography has always been my passion, and turning that into a job still feels surreal. So seriously — THANK YOU. I love you all so much!
