Jim Anderson's "trusty electronic partner from that era - the Soundcraft 1S mixing console. It was the tool that [he] used for the majority of shows that [he] did from 1985-1995. It helped [him] set a standard for quality in live sound that [he's] tried to maintain over the years and now [he's] in the process of restoring it to full working condition."

Jim Anderson, Audio Engineer-Stage/Production Manager at Seismic Audio, The Central Tavern, and The Crocodile Cafe.

His personal collection of nearly 5000 live audio recordings of 2000+ artists between 2002 and 2007 can be found at the University of Washington Media's Archival Listening Station (In-Library only).

Debi worked in record promotions for over 40 years playing a significant role in artists including Pearl Jam and The Screaming Trees, and contributing to the success of the iconic Singles (1992) soundtrack, all closely tied to the Seattle music scene. As if that weren't enough, she also worked with artists including Daryl Hall, Rage Against the Machine, Ben Folds, and Michael Jackson p**f she had an epic career.

Renowned for his seamless mixing skills, massive record collection and impeccable taste, Supreme La Rock is not only a crate digger and vinyl enthusiast but likely the reason you had (and will have, check our most recent events post!) a great night-out clubbing in Seattle.

Supreme La Rock (supremelarock ), producer, DJ, radio personality, co-founder of Conception Records, official DJ for the Seattle Seahawks(2014), and host of Sunday Soul on KEXP among a million other things.

Heather was introduced to the PNW scene at The Evergreen State College in the summer of 1982. At the time, the overall ethos was punk rock of some variety. Meaning you didn’t have to be a virtuoso to start a band, and it was better if you weren’t. The backlash to long guitar solos was in full force. People just wanted to hang out, make up songs, and learn as you go.

That summer, Heather, Gary-May, and Doug Monaghan came together to become trio, the Supreme Cool Beings. This band lead her to meet multi-hyphenate Calvin Johnson through his radio show on KAOS, where they, joined with Bret Lunsford, became Beat Happening.

Jim Basnight (Jim Basnight ) is the guitarist, singer-songwriter, bandleader, and co-composer of The Meyce, a band whose first show (on May 1st, 1976) has been credited as the first DIY Punk show on the West Coast, one week before the first of its kind in London.

At the Fairmont Olympic Hotel, Jim reminisced about the last show they did opening for the Ramones:
"The Ramones loved us and said great things about us in the press, notably Tommy (Erdelyi) Ramone who said we were the best band they played with on the whole tour. A month later I moved to NYC, at age 19, where I was inspired to release one of the first DIY Punk 45 RPM singles in Seattle, "Live In The Sun" and "She Got F***ed.""

Caroline Davenport (CarolineD )- Multi-hyphenate Creative Directress/Co-founder/Cultural Engineer

After moving from LA to Seattle, one of Caroline’s first jobs was at the legendary Exotic Imports, where she spent her days mail-ordering records, putting together buyers’ collections, and discovering new music. She would go on to have an incredible career in music including forming the legendary Tasty Shows with her partners Alex Calderwood and Jared Lovejoy.
