Our second big gallery show brings together 100 portraits and handwritten stories from the artists, musicians, managers, DJs, venue owners and all the Weirdos who made the PNW music scene of the ’80s and ’90s what it was.

David Booker(David Booker ) is formerly a member of the Seattle R&B singing group 2nd Nature. They made their mark on the national music scene with their single "Can U Show Me", which still gets air time today through many music platforms. You may have seen him on local commercial slots or billboards promoting City University, Quinault Beach Resort & Casino, the Silk Soy Milk Tastemaker Challenge, and Tulalip Casino. He is now the proud business owner of a local construction company here in the Seattle area, as well as the lead vocalist for the cover band Chapter 5.

Self-taught DJ, Trent Von(Trent Von ), has been a part of DANCE 89.5 (DANCE 89.5 ; formerly C89.5; KNHC Seattle), the longest running dance music station in the world, since 1995, and is one of few Billboard Dance Music Panelists representing Washington in national Billboard charts. His unique perspective and knowledge that supersedes genre has solidified him as a legend and tastemaker in Seattle, on and off the dance floor.

Kerri Harrop(Kerri Harrop ) told the Stranger back in December of 2000, that she got into DJing because of "an unhealthy obsession with music and pop culture" and her record collection from working at Sub Pop. She had so much fun at her first real DJ gig at Linda's, she just kept going.

Her influence on Seattle nightlife and music is undeniable. Even her day jobs, including being an ad rep at the Seattle Weekly(bands, clubs, promoters), KEXP, PR for The Crocodile, booking for Chop Suey, and many more, kept her in and around the Seattle clubs and music scene.
