My name is AJ DeAngelo and I’m a NYC / NJ based professional DP, Camera Operator, and Photographer. I have worked for various TV networks shooting everything from foodies on Food Network with Bobby Flay, to Super-model showdowns with Tyson Beckford, as well as “What Not To Wear” fashions with Stacy London and Clinton Kelly. Over the past several years the focus of my filming has been Real Estate a
nd Island Culture – on location all over The Caribbean, Mexico, and Hawaii with HGTV’s “Life Series” – “Hawaii Life”, “Mexico Life”, “Caribbean Life” and “Island Life”. It’s here, where all of my previous work filming beauty, food, and fashion comes together, filming luxurious homes & beautiful island vistas, while capturing good vibes & island lifestyle. I have a fun, happy, and comforting approach to filming that translates great to TV for those with experience on camera or complete strangers that step in front of my lens for the first time. My favorite things to shoot are places to go, people to see, and things to do! I love being on the road shooting everything from food trucks to five star restaurants… nature, mountains, beaches, surf, and island adventure – but mostly the cool people and the stories they share along the way down this magnificent road that I call, “Operation Endless Summer”.
