Twenty-two years ago, I became your mom. Today, I get to watch you become the man you were meant to be.

From scraped knees and surfboards to late-night studying and chasing big dreams, you’ve always done things your own way. Watching you graduate from college has been one of the greatest privileges of my life.

You worked hard for this moment, and somehow you still managed to stay kind, humble, adventurous, and completely yourself through it all.

Middle school: survived.
Friendships: somehow even louder now.

A little 8th grade graduation session with my daughter and her girls before they all scatter into different schedules, schools, sports, and late-night FaceTimes. The kind of photos they’ll laugh at in 10 years because of the outfits… but secretly love forever. 🤍

A few fun facts:
• I will move you 10 feet just to chase better light
• I see shadows before I see people
• Golden hour has my full emotional support
• I say “one more” at least 7 times
• I’ll hype you up like it’s my full-time job
• I love when photos feel a little imperfect
• I’ll always choose candid over posed
• I notice the quiet moments most people miss
• I probably have sand in my car right now
