I had the JOY of capturing some of the last moments together for this beautiful family of 5 before sending their daughter Bryce across country from Colorado to Georgia for college. This crew holds a special place in my heart since the mama and I met at a MOPS group and carried our babies (her youngest/my first daughter) at the same time 13 years ago and she happens to be one of my most favorite, adventure lovin' friends 🎀 So thankful to have be able to love on each others babies still today- while my kids are in Colorado and while Bryce is here. Here are a few fun shots. I'll save the family ones for them to share. 🌸

When the opportunity presents, you jump! Everything lined up with me being in Colorado at the end of July, their daughter heading back to college within a couple days, and a small window of time when neither of us had anything on our busy calendars! So grateful I got to capture this beautiful family's photoshoot. While I primarily do headshots and portfolios these days, I will make an exception from time to time to do a family shoot. Since this sweet mama and I have been friends since our babies were little, it was an honor to say yes.

That’s a wrap! May was a busy busy month with all things leading up to end of year for all of our kids, including graduation for my twin boys, followed by an incredible trip to Greece two days later. We experienced Athens, Santorini, and Paros. We ate well, hiked, explored, slept late, swam, went wind surfing, scuba diving, swimming in a sea cave, and more.
These pictures are a glimpse in reverse from finish to start of our incredible trip. Some from my camera, some from my phone.
Greece was a beautiful country that I loved way more than I could have imagined! It was a gift to be able to experience it with my boys.

Seniors, graduates, headshots, and more.

My son participated in the State Shooting Competition this past Saturday.

This sport has both humbled him and helped him grow so much over these past 4 years since we moved to Georgia. Watching him develop discipline, focus, patience, and confidence through this journey has been such a gift as a mom.

This competition marks the final sporting event of both of my twin boys' high school career, and that realization definitely hit me a little harder than I expected. I'm going to miss cheering them on from the sidelines, watching them do what they love.

I know God has incredible plans ahead for both of them, and I'm thankful there will be plenty of opportunities to support and cheer them on in other ways in this next season of life!

Congratulations to all who participated in State, and to all the seniors graduating tomorrow night! It's an exciting milestone!
