2026 Majors Division Championship Recap 🏆⚾
What a way to finish the season.
F. Smith & Sons captured the 2026 Abington Little League Majors Division Championship on Monday night, defeating Nealon Law 9-8 in walk-off fashion in an unforgettable championship game at Ackerly Fairgrounds.
With the game tied 8-8 in the bottom of the sixth inning, Benjamin Talarico delivered the game-winning hit, driving home the championship-winning run and setting off the celebration.
The game featured multiple lead changes and several momentum swings. F. Smith & Sons built early leads, Nealon Law battled back each time, and the teams entered the final inning tied before the dramatic finish.
Mikey Fogley led the champions with three hits, while Ben Talarico and Evan Ross each drove in two runs. Murphy Lyle, Vincie Pricci, and Noah Bejeski also contributed multiple hits as F. Smith & Sons collected 11 hits and drew eight walks.
On the mound, Evan Ross struck out seven before Vincie Pricci earned the win in relief.
Nealon Law turned in a tremendous effort in the championship game. Timothy Deschaine collected three hits, while Jordan Schoenberg and Timothy Deschaine each drove in two runs. Ronan Setta added the game-tying RBI in the sixth inning to set up the dramatic finish.
