I wanted a space that truly feels like me! A place where you can explore my work, learn more about me, and easily book your next session.

✨ Hey there! I’m Meg, the face behind Auburn Roots Photo Co. 🤎🌿

If you’re new here, welcome! If you’ve been around for a while… thanks for hanging around this little corner of the internet. 🤎

Photography has been my heart since 2017, when I picked up a camera “just for fun.” Somewhere along the way, that little hobby turned into the dream job I never knew was possible.

In 2023, I graduated from Marywood University and Luzerne County Community College with my degree in Photography and a minor in Business. Since then, I’ve spent my days chasing golden sunsets, happy tears, muddy boots, belly laughs, and all the beautifully imperfect moments in between.

Around here, I’m not after perfectly posed. I want the real stuff.
The wind-blown hair.
The snorts after someone laughs too hard.
The forehead kisses.
The “I can’t believe you caught that” moments.
Because years from now, those are the memories that matter most.


Now for the fun part…

✨ I’m a professional third wheel.
✨ I’ll probably tell you to “just frolic over there.”
✨ I’ll absolutely make weird noises to get kids to smile (and yes… adults too).
✨ If I start saying random phrases that make zero sense… just roll with it. Somehow it works. 😂
✨ I fully believe every session should feel more like hanging out with a friend than standing in front of a camera.

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll usually find me wandering TJMaxx telling myself I’m “just looking,” grabbing an iced coffee, spending time with family, or hanging out with my three kitties, Finn, Ellie, and Moe, and our honorary Auburn Roots mascot, Porter the bunny. 🐈🐇

The biggest shoutout goes to my love, Noah, for always being my biggest cheerleader, believing in me, and encouraging every crazy dream I decide to chase. I truly couldn’t do this without you. 🤎

Whether you’ve been here since day one or you’re just finding Auburn Roots, thank you for supporting this little dream of mine. Every booking, every like, every share, and every kind word means more than you’ll ever know.
