18 years ago today, sweet Carmen🌸

This birthday is a bit of a rough one for me. I have not dreaded any of her birthdays, but I have this one for some reason...

I am so grateful for my Squamish belly mamas. It brings me so much joy to see one after the other of our kiddos celebrate this milestone! At the same time, I can not believe how quickly time has gone by...how fast life goes. I’m definitely here for all of it!

During one of Carmen’s celebrations of life, a beautiful soul named Grace walked up to me as I could barely comprehend what was happening. She told me that Carmen wanted me to think of her as if she were off at college. “She’s here, but you can not see her. You can speak to her and you may hear her reply. You will see her again. She’s waiting for you to see the bigger perspective. She sees it and sees that you do not see it yet.” This sort of direct heart-to-heart connection and information helped us through healing and still does to this day.

Thank you to everyone who helps to keep her name flowing and beautiful memories alive! I am so grateful for all of you!
See you in a blink, Carmen!
