Born and raised in Arizona, I spend my days admiring the beautiful desert light by photographing it or adventuring outdoors! Rock climbing, mountain biking, hiking and backpacking are among a few keys to my heart. When I’m not out adventuring, you can find me sipping down coffee, baking some goodies (I might share!) or being a Netflix bum ;)

I am truly so lucky to be able to follow my passion and

call it my job. Capturing those once in a lifetime moments and turning them into tangible memories to be passed down is such an honor. Dancing under the Milky Way ✨ There’s a special place in my heart for couples that are down for anything. These two trusted me and we ventured off into the dark desert for a little during their reception. There’s nothing quite like staring up at the night sky and seeing the Milky Way! Makes you remember how big the world is and just how amazing it is to be able to find your person 💕

Who else wishes they could be having a picnic right now?! 🍾 It’s been so cold lately I’ve been dreaming of snuggling up like these two near a fire with some s’mores 🔥 Does anyone else add Reese’s cups to their s’mores or am I just a fat kid? 😜

It was so cold during this Sedona session but you’d never guess it because these two are champs! Our first location turned out to be a straight uphill ice slide 🥶 Angela is a beast and would have kept climbing/sliding in her dress but Ryan and I pulled the plug to go to our plan b location 😂 This session was so fun and an adventure for sure! I love couples who roll with it and make the most of the situation 💕Angela + Ryan thanks for surviving the great red rock ice slide of 2019 with me 😆

One of my goals this year is to shoot more personal projects. Sometimes I get caught up only shooting for clients. It’s nice to mix in creative free time just for yourself and it ends up flowing over into client work too. This Sedona anniversary shoot was so fun for me to put together and I had complete freedom to shoot without having to get particular shots. I also went back to my roots + shot mostly film this session which made my photographer heart happy. I’ll be incorporating more of my darkroom + alternative process techniques this year! If anyone wants to tag along for some creative shoots, let me know 💕

These two have their reception in AZ today and I can’t wait 💕 I know I’ve been MIA on here for a bit. I’ve been so slammed and sick but I’ll be getting back to a normal posting schedule 🙌🏻 I have soooo many amazing memories to share from this past fall!

Running into the weekend like...this season has been intense! I’m wrapping up the last of my weddings and it’s always bittersweet. I miss my couples after their wedding day 😭 I’m looking forward to next year though and can’t believe it’s almost 2019! Does anyone have exciting plans for the new year yet?

Who else wishes they could be sitting under this twinkle light mulberry tree piece of heaven? ✨ I love this idea for a square intimate table for dinner. It made it feel so cozy and connected.
