10 Years Ago Today at Gene Wilder's House - wow
I’ll use any excuse to get this photo out.
The story behind this is way longer and more life changing than an Instagram caption could do it justice.

His kindness in 2013 made him spend 2 hours chatting with me when I randomly knocked at his house (looking like a thug 😂) he encouraged me to keep knocking on doors, metaphorically. He asked me what made me knock on his door, what gave me the audacity! And to never lose the thing that made me do it. Told me that him knocking on doors was the only reason Young Frankenstein got made.

“Keep doing the things that others might only think of doing”. Keep taking risks. It’s what got him the life he had. He changed my life that day.

Today was my first July 4th as one of you. It might not seem a big deal if you grew up here. But for someone who was absolutely terrified that I'd be kicked out from the first day I landed at LAX, with zero idea how I was going to make the impossible work, terrified right up until the day I became a citizen, it's huge. For me, and hopefully future generations of my family. Thanks for having me, America. I'm honored to be one of you 🇺🇸

I've long thought about recording the conversations I have with my clients during a shoot. Turning it into a podcast. I'm fascinated by every one of these people. Whether they're responsible for running one of the largest companies in the world, are pushing to make their idea/invention the next big thing, or are looking to take the next step on the career ladder. I'm fascinated by every story I hear. The conversations I get to have and the knowledge I'm absorbing is priceless. Every single story is unique. It's given me so much optimism. I'm a lucky man to call this "work"
