We've had issues with hard drive space and studio time, but we're back!
When we recorded our 3-part semiquincentennial locomotives episode in early July, we figured there would be a few locomotives that would be released in the following weeks, but we didn't expect *checks notes* 21 of them!
We discuss the late additions in this week's episode...

Important YouTube announcement!

Friday night at 11:59 PM ET, we will be doing some "publicity swapping" of our full-length programs available on YouTube. Our extremely popular Moffat, Crawford Hill, and CN: DMIR trilogy will be transferred to membership-only viewing, so they will still be available to watch with a Dubkir Cinematography membership. We will also be uploading another video onto the membership section, so stay tuned!

On the flip side, our popular "MRL: The Final Days" program and our new(er) "Last Days of the Iowa Northern" will be moved from members only to public, plus we'll be uploading a new public video as well!

TL/DR: Our Moffat, Crawford, CN Trilogy, and a new upload will be moved to members only, and our MRL, Iowa Northern, and a new upload will be available for public viewing.

A month ago today we spent 12 hours driving to Chattanooga, so we'll share some photos of other people's trains at the Elk City N Scale event.
We didn't get as many photos at the event as we should have, but we got a good amount of video of other's stuff, which we'll share at a little time.

We interrupt your look back at our Elk City/NMRA/another project trip to bring you this LIVE view.

A month ago today: July 27th
We arrived into Springdale, AR, first thing in the morning, and before long, the Arkansas and Missouri's Monett Turn was readying to leave. We chased it all day, getting a good feel for the north end of the line!

The Elk City N Scale event in Oklahoma has come to an end, and it's time to head to the NMRA National Convention/Show in Chattanooga, TN! We wanted to find something to do on the way, and the Arkansas & Missouri Railroad is in a good location for that. Turns out, July 25th was the A&M's "Christmas in July" celebration, and two round trip runs were made to Johnson, AR, from Springdale.
We also caught a yard job switching in Springdale. Fortunately for us, as we've since seen a photo online of a newly-painted Arkansas & Missouri GP38.

A month ago today: July 24th
Our last day of operations at the Elk City N Scale event in Oklahoma! Due to time constraints, we only ran 1 training this day, a stack/rack combo led by BNSF 6747 and BNSF 6505.
We also shot some video of trains on the layout, a lot of our trains and trains run by other people. That video will also be added to the YouTube page at some point, so follow along/subscribe if you haven't!

A month ago today: July 23rd
Another day of operations at the Elk City N Scale event. Upon our morning arrival at the convention center, the power to the layout was off, so we did a video tour of the Free-moN layout (stay tuned/subscribe to our YouTube channel for the release of that one!), then ran another trio of trains.
First was an Allegheny Midland coal train led by SD40-2s AM 3082 and V&O 3067.
Second was an autorack train led by BNSF 6389, FURX 8126, and BNSF 7837.
Third was a grain train led by FURX 7246, BNSF 7837, FURX 8126, BNSF 6869, and MRL 250. This is a direct nod to a consist we saw in Montana, climbing Mullan Pass in 2005.

A month ago today: July 22nd, part deux
When running our stack train with MRL 250, FURX 8126, and BNSF 7837, we noticed the late evening sun coming in through the nearby sliding glass doors. With most of the attendees at dinner, we had this part of the layout to ourselves, so a photoshoot ensued.

A month ago today: July 22nd
The first full day of operations at the Elk City N Scale event. We arrived in the morning and ran 3 different trains.
First, an autorack train with BNSF 6389, BNSF 6505, and BNSF 6869.
Second, a manifest with BNSF 6747, BNSF 7837, and BNSF 6389.
Third, a stack train led by MRL 250, FURX 8126, and BNSF 7837.
6389, 6869, and 7837 are all custom decaled.
