Busy Moms…Here’s a plan to help you feel less stressed so you can enjoy the holidays:
✅Sunday 10 (Oct 18):
-Order kids costumes
-Get Halloween Candy (Dollar General, Walgreens & Fry’s have some great deals.
✅Sunday 9 (Oct 25):
-Book your holiday photos.
-Decide Outfits- jeans and neutrals is always a great place to start. You don’t have to be pintrest perfect to get great photos. ✅Sunday 8 (Nov 1):
-Set a budget for the holiday gifts. -Start making a list ideas of each person.
-Order your Turkey & major sides for Thanksgiving. I still cook the turkey but not having to prep everything makes a world of difference!
✅Sunday 7 (Nov 8):
-Pick a few people on your holiday list and start to check them off.
-Decide if you need any new holiday decor or wrapping paper and purchase. I do different wrapping paper every year and it sets my holiday theme.
-I also sit down and decide what holiday activities we want to do and put them on the calendar. ✅Sunday 6 (Nov 15):
-Working on additional gifts. I like to have half of my list done so all my shopping is done by the holidays.
-This is also the week I like to schedule my holiday family photos. -Usually whatever I buy for photos is also our family Thanksgiving day outfit.
✅Sunday 5 (Nov 22):
-Prep work for Thanksgiving.
-Finish majority of gift giving.
✅Sunday 4 (Nov 29):
-Pick out my holiday card so when photo gallery is ready I’m ready to go with addresses & stamps.
-Set up Tree/ Holiday decorations/ or Start wrapping gifts (sometimes it’s all of the above and sometimes it’s only one.)
-Any last minute holiday shopping. ✨See comment for tha last few weeks
