Yes, I'm still out here shooting all kinds of sessions!

I am simply WAY behind in making social media posts.

It's busy season and I want to give you the best client experience and a lower turn around time, so social media takes a back seat. (I know, I know it shouldn't, but it does for me)

Besides, does anyone ever look at these posts? I never know unless you ENGAGE.

AI can creat, but AI cannot make it feel real.

Do you think years from now her mom will look back at this photo and remember how sick she was for our shoot? Will she remember the way her little girl looked at her with such awe and love as they spun around in a circle, laughing and dancing through the sickness?

Even if you don't think so, I do. AI cannot give you real moments that make you feel. Remember that...

I may not be able to convey all of my feelings today or get the words out that I want...

Today is a big day. At least for my little self run business. Today Life's Mirror Images is 19 years old! Sometimes I ask myself how I ever made it this far, and I quickly realize it's the same thing over and over again... the people who believe in me. The people that hire me. The people that tell others about me. The people that engage in my posts. The people that come back again and again.

Only around 4% of professional photographers make it to this point. It's even smaller for simply being a photographer. If I said it was easy, I'd be lying. If I said it's all been handed to me, I'd be lying. I set out a dream and a goal and each time I got to that goal, I would make a new one. What once started out as a film and 35mm camera and has advanced to DSLR and living in a world of AI and the wave of using AI for creativity, I can say I've had to overcome and jump through more obstacles that I ever thought would be thrown my way.

Thank you for those of you who have stuck by me, supported me, told me you liked my work, and gave me the drive to keep going. I couldn't have done it without any of you. Thank you to my family who drives me and supports me more than anyone else. They see the hard work behind the scenes and have always lifted me up to push me forward.

I am blessed to be in this place today.
