Saturday was a step back in time — sunlight on the cotton fields, the ring of a blacksmith’s hammer, and stories etched in old wood and tin. From the depot and one-room schoolhouse to the tiny Mt. Hope chapel, the Scott Plantation Settlement still whispers Arkansas history with every creak of its floorboards.
It’s more than a festival — it’s a reminder of where we’ve been and the pride that still grows in Delta soil.
