I met Travis and Brittni two years ago on Sept 6th. They decided to celebrate their dating anniversary with me by getting a photo shoot together. Little did I know two years later to the exact DAY, I would have the honor of photographing their best day ever- their wedding day. Brittni had every single detail taken care of and thought out. Little gifts from the heart, personal notes, so much meaning behind every aspect of the day. Travis kept everyone laughing in between his own tears, and surprised Brittni with a beautiful bracelet he had designed himself, and had everyone crying when he shared his mother son dance with all of his brothers. Norfolk Botanical Garden was the perfect venue, with their gorgeous back drop for all of these beautiful moments. The bride and groom chose to do a first touch and private vows prior to their ceremony. Travis was not expecting the first touch to actually be a butt grab from Brittni. 😂 Their officiant was fantastic and kept the ceremony light and fun, yet heart felt. The entire bridal party really helped shape the whole wedding day and provided so much love and laughter and were devoted to making sure this couple had the perfect day. When the dance floor opened the real party began and when I say this wedding’s reception will go down in history as one of the best receptions I have ever photographed I mean it! The photos speak for themselves. The DJ had a full dance floor the entire evening and knocked it out of the park with the playlist. When the dance floor cleared to form outside for an epic bubble exit, Travis and Brittni had one final dance just the two of them to soak in the final moments of their day. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Thank you for being the amazing people that you are, I’m so thankful I got to be apart of the crew to shower you with love on your wedding day and document these memories for you. 🥹

Chocowinity River will always hold a special place in my heart. For three years now I have been going down to capture these growing families by this river. The kids play in between their family's turn. The parents laugh and catch up and talk about how big their babies have grown. The sunset always gives us an incredible show, and my fondness for this spot by the water grows and grows. I have seen families go from two to three, babies go from only being able to sit up in crates to running through the grass, I have seen baby faces turn into teenage faces, and the bond between the families that come to participate sit and bask in the special kind of joy that only the kind of familial/test of time kind of love can bring. They always make me feel like family too. Until next summer Chocowinity River.. I can't wait to see ya next year 💙

Year ✨FIVE✨ of capturing memories for this sweet Pennsylvania Family. Every summer I look forward to seeing these gorgeous smiling faces somewhere along the OuterBanks ocean shore. Knox always brings her blanket and we capture another year of her taking up a little more space on it in the sand. 🥹💕 The babies get bigger and the memories get even sweeter. I am so honored to get to be apart of their beach vacation memories and watch their little ones grow up in front of my camera! ♥️ Until next year…☀️🌊

If you look at these photos in order it looks like we ran around the beach and got dry- but it’s really just that I couldn’t save the best for last!! The water photos needed to be the first ones everyone saw because THIS is what it’s all about. My camera and I capturing MEMORIES of your family having fun, preserving all the giggles and love and the way your babies look at you, and the way your significant other sneaks kisses in between the clicks of my camera, the way that life long friendships formed and how they just know your heart. I LOVED this session and how these families jumped into the water and just had FUN. Nothing beats candid photos. 🥹 Happy Vacation Rossoll and Hunt Family- thanks for sharing these moments with me!

An August born in July... 🤎 Krissy and Steven welcomed little August Daniel just over one month ago. He is a PERFECT angel baby. He was such a good little guinea pig to test some of my new outfits on (the brown bear/swaddle and the blue bonnet/jammies for anyone else wanting to incorporate them into their newborn sesh's😉) I did not want to put this handsome man down.. but I had to share, especially with big brother Kaden. My favorite part of the session (aside from the baby snugs) was when I was going to leave and Kaden told me to "come back again and bring your friends!" because he saw the carseats in my car!! Haha! I would gladly come hang with this sweet fam, and these precious boys ANY time.

I never know what I'm walking into when I show up for a photo session with the Nicholson Family.. but I am always confident that 1. It's going to be creative.. and 2. They are gonna show up and show OUT. This time I walked in to THIS. Are you kidding meeee?! The outfits, the back drops, and the pregnancy GLOWWWW. I have truly enjoyed following along and documenting so much of Kelsea and Kelsey's love story, and this chapter is no exception. I can not WAIT to see Quinn become a big sister to a little baby BROTHER, and see these three turn into a Family of FOUR. I'm so so happy that there's going to be another little cutie to photograph soon, and I can't wait to meet him already!

When Emily contacted me for a special beach session to capture some memories while family was in town visiting, I was SO excited! First of all, you can never go wrong with a photo session at the beach- but second of all, I could not WAIT to get Averie back in front of my camera. 😍 She is 9 months old, as smiley as can be, and LOVES her people. She was so happy to be snuggled up with her family and is truly enjoying her time being the baby of the family lol! It was so nice to have Riley's family in town visiting from Iowa, and Emily's parents there too! The more the merrier, It's so much fun when there's so much love to capture in a session like this! 💙

The Minev Family has added a third BOY into the mix! This is Rhodes, he is 11 pounds, and as sweet as can be. The sleepiest, snuggliest hunk of chunk. His handsome brothers absolutely adore him, as you can see in the photos below. Indiana and Dakota were so well behaved and adorable while I was in their home with their little brother. They taught me all about their video games, and were so polite. Ugh, My heartttt! Brothers truly do make the best of friends. I love that every Minev baby has had their own special photo in a llama outfit too. They sure make that hat and diaper cover look CUTE! Congratulations Christina and Galin on making another beautiful baby, I love seeing your family grow! 💙

Ashley and Luke are a month away from meeting their baby boy! I am so excited for them to dive into their newest titles of becoming Mom and Dad. It was so great getting to catch up with Ashley and talk all things baby, and see how much Luke was making her smile and blush. She's truly found her happily ever after, and getting ready to become parents with the man of her dreams is just icing on the cake. Baby Neal is so incredibly loved already- their greatest adventure yet! Congratulations you two!

Sophia Betty's best friend is sloth, she has her daddy wrapped around her finger, shares her mama's gorgeous blue eyes and is somehow almost TWO years old. They say time flies when you're having fun.. and she definitely has been making life more fun since she's been born. The piggy tails and her emotional support crayon and the way sloth has to be close at all times just blow the top off the cuteness scale. I love how BIG of a personality this little lady has, and how much she cracked me up during this session. I couldn't wait to get her in front of my camera again, and now I can't wait again until the next time! ❤ I would gladly drive to Fall River Massachusetts time and time again for that perfect little grin!
