Always amazed when I get to photograph an adorable toddler face that I also photographed as a newborn. So thankful to be a part of a growing family journey. 🤎
When I started my business, I really had no idea what to expect and what would come of it. I just knew that I wanted to take beautiful photos and capture memories. I didn’t know that my work would lead me into connecting with families and being able to watch their children grow as mine grow too. 🤎
I opened Laney G Photography when my oldest daughter was born. My camera was actually a push present and I taught myself photography and how to run a business. I can actually say I’m still always trying to learn more in both areas. But watching her and my work grow alongside has been the ride of a lifetime 🤎 thank you again to my people, you mean the world to me.

My client asked if we could use her wedding veil in her newborn photos, and my answer was yes!!!! This was so much fun and such a beautiful moment to capture. I’m honestly always down to try creative things in my sessions but this was super fun and special 🤎

Letting go is always hard for me…

It’s a big part of why I’m a photographer.

Even if it’s just letting go of a season.

I miss moments before they are even over.

Because next summer, it will be a little bit different.

They will be a little bit older. I will be a little bit different.

The love will be the same. But a moment can’t exist more than once.
Maybe this is why it’s so hard to be a mom who feels everything so deeply.

Every end to a season is bittersweet as a mom. Have you ever missed something before it even left? Because that’s how I feel constantly since becoming a mom. Their little faces and voices constantly changing right before my eyes. And then when you look back a year later, and you’re wondering when they grew so much. Soaking in what’s left of this sunshine with my world.
