Today SMP turns ✨10 YEARS OLD!✨
More than 10 years ago, I was a teenage girl who studied up on photography blogs and dreamed of creating images. I couldn’t wait to get behind a camera. Now, I’m still in awe of the last ten years. The miles travel, the beautiful, glowy images, and most importantly, the people I’ve met along the way. I can’t believe I can stand on this side of those big dreams and look back on TEN years of business. “Grateful” doesn’t touch it.
SMP has definitely been more of a side gig the last 6+ years as I’ve worked full time alongside photography. I’ve also become a wife, bonus mom, homeowner, gardener, etc., and even though those new titles have pushed “photographer” back a few spaces on my priority list, creating images is still something I love so much. I’m still always chasing light and admiring places that would make a pretty backdrop 🥰
I can’t thank you enough for following along on this journey and trusting me to document your most important milestones. It’s an honor I don’t take lightly!
