Our Story.

River-Birch Studios located in Schenectady, NY was founded all on a small dream.

Hey! I’m Cheyenne, the girly behind the lens + creator of River-Birch Studios. Born + raised in Upstate NY. I was one of the few from my small town to venture off, only to return to plant my roots. It was actually my saving grace. Previously working within healthcare, serving my community as a EMT, I was always putting others first - It's just who I am. Fast forward to July 2019 - after suffering a Stroke, River - Birch Studios was born. I don't want to say that picking up a camera changed my life, but it really did. Since I can remember, photography has been a part of me in some way, shape or form. I've photographed landscapes, I've worked on self expression projects, but I've found my calling to be lifestyle photography. Primarily couples + families. My heart becomes so freakin' happy when I'm capturing a couple in love with all their real, raw emotion. Including all the neck kisses + b***y grabs! Whether it be on top of a mountain, or the middle of an uncut hay field, I believe there is always a story to tell.
