We'd love to spread the word about a new project that our family has taken on. Many of you know my lovely with Rebecca, who has helped build the studio for the last 25 years. She is leading a new endeavor, close to her heart. We've purchased the former St. Paul's Lutheran church in Spencer, NY and have undertaken a full renovation of the property. The Sisu Sanctuary for Trauma Recovery will be a one of a kind short term rental with a focus on families seeking recovery from trauma, including PTSD. Guests will be able to choose from a variety of services and experiences during their stay, including therapy, recreational and bonding activities.
This project is unlike anything else we're aware of, and is near and dear to our hearts, especially Rebecca's. She is pouring her heart and soul into the establishment of the facility, along with working on creating a non-profit foundation that can raise funds to offset the costs of a stay for eligible families.
