The best comebacks look calm from the outside.

Watching the Knicks erase a 29-point hole last night, what stood out wasn't panic. It was poise. They stopped forcing it and started trusting the work. Final: 107–106.

That's the part nobody thinks to book a photographer for — until the day comes. Weddings don't go to script. The light shifts. The timeline slips. Someone cries at the wrong moment, or the perfect one.

You don't want someone who panics when the plan breaks. You want someone who's been in the fourth quarter before and knows the shot is still there.

Composure is the luxury. Everything else is just gear.

Twenty minutes before the doors open, the whole room holds its breath.

Chairs lined up and waiting. Globes of light glowing overhead like low-hanging stars. White roses spilling over brick that's stood longer than any love story it's hosted. No one's walked this aisle yet — but everything's ready for the two people about to.

This is my favorite moment of the entire day. The hush right before the "I do." The quiet before the happy chaos.
