She thought they were just taking a walk through Forsyth Park…

Nick had something much bigger planned.

Right in the heart of Savannah, with the Forsyth fountain behind them, he dropped to one knee and completely surprised Kelsey!

And THIS reaction.

The smile. The disbelief. The laughter. The way she immediately reached for him. These are the moments we live for, the ones that happen so quickly in real life but deserve to be remembered forever.

After the YES! we wandered through Forsyth Park together, soaking it all in, photographing that just engaged joy beneath the live oaks and Spanish moss.

Nick + Kelsey, congratulations!! Thank you for trusting us with such a special chapter of your story. Getting to quietly be in on the secret and then watch it all unfold was an absolute joy.

One of the questions we get asked most is, “How do you photograph a surprise proposal without giving it away?”

The truth is, there’s usually a lot more planning involved than people realize.

Before the proposal, we’ll talk through all the details with you about location ideas, timing, where you’ll stand, and what happens after the big moment. We want you to feel prepared, but not like you’re following a complicated script.

When the day comes, we’re usually tucked away somewhere trying our best not to look suspicious. Whether we’re pretending to photograph the scenery or blending in with other visitors, our goal is simple: capture the moment as it naturally unfolds.

The nervous smiles. The shocked reactions. The happy tears. Sometimes things don’t go exactly as planned, and that’s okay. Those real, unscripted moments are often the ones couples cherish most.

After the proposal, we spend a little time taking engagement photos while you soak in the excitement of being newly engaged. It’s relaxed, fun, and gives you a chance to enjoy the moment together before sharing the news with everyone else.

Beautiful Magdalena!

We had such a wonderful time capturing Mag’s dance portraits at The Ford! She was an absolute joy to photograph. Watching her move through each pose with such strength, grace, and artistry was truly inspiring. Her beautiful lines, expressive movement, and confident performance quality brought every image to life.

We are so proud of all she has accomplished and the dedication she brings to her craft. We can’t wait to watch her continue to grow and shine as she takes on an exciting year with Color Guard at RHHS. The sky is the limit, Mag!

🇺🇸🎣 A Night Bigger Than Fishing. A Night About Purpose.

What an incredible evening at the 5th Annual Knot Lucky Fundraiser held at the Savannah Boathouse!

From the laughter shared between friends, the amazing food, live music, raffles, auctions, and the overwhelming support from our community, it was a powerful reminder of what can happen when people come together for a meaningful cause.

For those unfamiliar with their mission, Knot Lucky helps veterans and active-duty service members reconnect, heal, and build camaraderie through time spent on the water. Every dollar raised helps provide these fishing excursions completely free to those who have served our country.

As photographers, we're fortunate to witness a lot of special moments. Last night wasn't just another event, it was a room full of people showing up for veterans, honoring service, and investing in a mission that is truly changing lives. ❤️🇺🇸
