Some love stories just feel magical from the very beginning and Billy + Abbygail’s surprise proposal on The Isle of Hope was exactly that.
Billy carefully planned every detail of this unforgettable moment beneath the iconic oak trees dripping with Spanish moss at a beautiful family friend’s home. Nervous and excited, he waited for Abbygail to arrive with the perfect ring and the support of his sweet mom nearby.
As Abbygail’s parents pulled up, Billy met her outside and asked the love of his life to marry him in the Savannah rain, so romantic! Through happy tears, Abbygail said YES!
After celebrating with the sweetest hugs from their parents, we whisked the newly engaged couple away for romantic portraits around complete with a champagne spray celebration!
These two met through a mutual friend at Georgia Southern University and have now been together for 2.5 years. Billy describes their relationship as “happy and fun” and shared that Abbygail is “pure hearted and constantly makes me a better man.”
