One of my first weddings of the year that I shot solo and it honestly fired me up! Being able to be within every moment and having all of the creative freedom with both the bride and groom. I had a whole new perspective on how to attack this day to be both efficient and present in moments.

Reintroducing Shan + Ry as Mom and Dad ❣

I will never get over being able to be a part in my couples lives. From engagement photos, wedding day, and now maternity photos. What a gift to watch two people create their family and celebrate with heirloom photos that their children can one day look at.

I'm blessed and I love these two people right here!

Contrary to what other industry professionals might tell you when you're talking timeline, I think the dance floor is important.

I love seeing who comes out to the dance floor to be carefree and to have fun with the couple. I love watching young and old guests belt out songs that make them feel alive.

It's such a fun atmosphere and it helps tie together your day.

Motherhood sessions: Maternity addition ✨

Some of my favorite sessions to plan! I love curating the vision with clients first before we secure time of day, location, or anything like that. We will comb through inspo images, talk about what we love from the inspo we've gathered, and THEN we pick the other key pieces from there. Outfits heavily influence location. I think that this has been so important when photographing and helping my moms feel confident in themselves and their session. ❣

When Molly + Ryan were reading their vows, I noticed a butterfly that kept circling them. Not once, not twice, but circled three times.

It clicked with me once the butterfly circled the third time, that this was beautiful example of a Godwink, and that it was a sign Molly's late father was near.

He had passed months before their day, and it was in that moment when he was surrounding them both, that let them know he was near 🦋❣
