Looking back at these photos from the very first Savannah Bananas home opener and others. I’m reminded how lucky I was to be there—and to photograph some of those early-season games from the field. 🍌⚾️

I’ll admit, I wasn’t sure what to make of the name Savannah Bananas or where Jesse Cole was taking this team.

Turns out, he knew exactly what he was doing.

Jesse had the vision to create something that didn’t exist before—blending baseball, entertainment, creativity and fun into an entirely new experience for all ages.

He didn’t just build a team. He created a phenomenon and, in many ways, an entirely new genre of entertainment.

Visionary. Trendsetter. Innovator.

These photos take me back to the beginning, when none of us knew just how big this idea could become.

Proud to have been there to capture a little piece of the story. 🍌

Arlington National Cemetery (9/11/2018). This was my first visit to Arlington and it was emotional and humbling to say the least.
