Three generations of the Carman family gathered together for an afternoon of portraits at Six Oaks, and we couldn’t have asked for a sweeter crew! From the tiniest family members stealing the show to those sweet grandparent moments, this session was full of memories worth holding onto 🫶🏼

7 years! 7 cheers! 7 HUGE thank-yous! ✨🥂

MDB Photography turns 7 this month, and somehow that feels both impossible and completely fitting. Looking back at seven years of wedding days, late-night editing, friendships, milestones, growing pains, happy tears, and thousands upon thousands of photographs… I’m just really, really grateful.

Seven years of MDB Photography means seven years of people showing up, trusting me, supporting me, and helping this dream grow, so here are seven very big thank-yous. 🤍

🩵 To our clients — thank you for trusting us with your weddings, families, proposals, babies, celebrations, and all the moments in between. Getting to document your lives is something I’ll never take for granted.

The Bowman Family came all the way from Kentucky! They wanted to capture their family vacation with Spanish moss, so that’s exactly what we did!

I always love when visitors ooh and ahh over how pretty Savannah is! It’s a sweet reminder of how lucky we are to call this place home 🫶🏼

A little rain, a little sunshine, and a whole lot of happy tears and love! 🤍✨

Savannah’s weather may have kept us on our toes this past Saturday, but it certainly didn’t stop Shelby and Tim from having the most beautiful wedding day! From sun-filled portraits in Washington Square to happy tears during their ceremony and a dance floor full of personalized hats, every moment was worth remembering.

And honestly, a little rain made the perfect excuse for kisses under custom umbrellas!

Introducing the newlyweds, Mr. & Mrs. Lee!

Rina and Robbie tied the knot this past Friday! The weather wasn’t going to stop them from having their outdoor ceremony underneath the live oak!

From incorporating beautiful kimono fabric into BOTH of their wedding day outfits (can we talk about Rina’s dress?! 😍) to celebrating beneath the sprawling live oaks, every detail felt so uniquely them.

And their love story? Brought to you by ! 🥹 Their fur babies even joined them on their wedding day and quite literally cried during the ceremony! Apparently, they were feeling all the emotions, too! 😂❤️

Everyone keeps asking what comes next.
Where are you going? What will you study? What do you want to do with your life?

But here’s the thing… you don’t have to have it all figured out yet.

Right now, you’re living in moments you’ll miss someday. The friends you see every day, the Friday nights, the inside jokes, the routines you barely think twice about, even the town you swear you can’t wait to leave. Trust me, I was there.

So take it in.

Be proud of how far you’ve come. Be excited for what’s ahead. And give yourself permission to figure it out as you go.

You have so much life waiting for you.
