This Saturday, I had the pleasure of photographing the incredible world of automotive craftsmanship at the New England Concours d’Elegance — where timeless classics, stunning details, and passionate enthusiasts all came together.

From the sweeping lines of vintage automobiles and the rugged character of classic trucks to the polished chrome, intricate craftsmanship, and the people who make this automotive community so special, there was a story waiting to be captured around every corner.

Behind the shot📸

Sometimes the magic happens long before the final image is delivered. For this outdoor Connecticut portrait session, we found the perfect backdrop in an old covered bridge—weathered wood, natural light, early Fall, and a setting that instantly added character to the portraits. As a photographer, I’m always looking for more than just a pretty location. I’m looking for the light, the composition, the mood, and that moment when everything comes together.
This is what happens behind the camera… and then comes the finished portrait.

11 years. ❤️ Photography has been a huge part of my life. The cameras, the shoots, the late nights editing, the creative ideas, the constant pursuit of getting better and telling stories through images. But behind all of that is the person who has been there through it all—my wife, Lorinda Turner. She’s been my biggest supporter, my loudest cheerleader, my honest critic, and sometimes the person who tells me what I need to hear instead of what I want to hear. She encourages me when I’m chasing an idea, challenges me when I’m settling, supports me when things get difficult, and somehow manages to keep me grounded through all of it.
Photography may be my passion, but she’s my rock. Every photographer knows how important it is to have the right light. I know I found mine. Happy 11th anniversary to my wife, my partner, my biggest supporter, and the person I’m lucky enough to do this life with. Here’s to everything we’ve built, everything we’ve been through, and everything still ahead.
