If you’ve been a client you know we’re “go with the flow” people. As such things have changed again and we’re not moving in May!! We did however take an opportunity that we’ve been waiting for, for 10 years!!! So because of this opportunity we will only be doing WEEKEND sessions!!! We’re definitely excited that we’re not having to move and excited to see our clients that need weekend sessions!

While we are still doing and booking sessions thru mid May, we’re beginning to destash our studio to make this transition/move easier. We will be selling gowns from Sew Trendy who some of you may know was one of the leaders in the gown industry and had to close her shop at the end of last year. Also destashing gowns for J&L designs, Silk Fairies, Mama Bump Rentals, KH Couture, and more. We will be selling newborn props, posing blankets, wraps, buckets, ect, Cake smash set lots, Christmas mini sets, backdrops, seamless paper rolls. Prices will be marked to clear out our studio. We will be listing on Facebook. Pick up will be at the studio. If you’re interested in something specific before we list things let us know.

Life’s been crazy lately, so our posts have taken a back seat. Somehow I got suckered into coaching a high school girls team and have become fully invested in watching them grow and succeed. I’ve been traveling to get to my son’s matches and crossing states to get my daughter’s matches. We’re still here and doing sessions in between matches!!!!!

This is thank you and goodbye!

I met Desiree in 2017 when my family was expecting. She has photographed all our kids. She was in the delivery room capturing our son entering the world in 2018. Our work relationship blossomed to a friendship and into family. She fully backed me as a work from home virtual assistant Mom with two babies under age two and they are now 6&7.

I made the decision to take a full time position in the school system back in November 2024. I found my calling and want to pour into this journey. Today was my last day at Candids and Colors Photography. Please be patient with Desiree as she transitions back to photographer & the virtual assistant role.

I leave you with this:

•Please always shop small.
•Take the photos. You will never regret it.
•Spread kindness. It goes a long way.
