Meet Misty

Hello! My name is Misty Sibbald and I’m a northern Michigan photographer!

So, I have had a camera in my hand since I was young & if a photo is being taken...I’m in it. To a fault, as my mother would say! I have a love for freezing time. (Cliche, I know) I think it might be because I have a terrible memory. For me, I need something to keep those precious moments fresh in my mind. My children are growing up very fast and nothing makes me happier than sitting down and going through an old album and reminiscing about days gone by. (This could mean yesterday, bad memory, remember?) Lol

I have spent the last 4 years perfecting my craft. Does that mean my craft is perfect? Absolutely not. Far from it. But with each and every tutorial, mentor session, webinar, etc., I’m getting better & better all the time. I have a yearning to grow, to get better & to produce a better image from the last. I specialize in everything wedding and newborn baby photography. This is where my pride & joy is. I love everything about a wedding day & everything about the birth of a baby. Both of these moments commend a tangible memory - something to hang onto throughout the years. These are moments you CAN NOT get back.

I love my job. I love each client who has come my way and trusted me with their wedding day, newborn baby, high-school senior, etc. I hope you have enjoyed each and every image I very thoughtfully created for you. I have enjoyed every single shutter click thus far and I hope to be around to create your memories for years to come.
