This is my dear friend, Kels. I admire her for so many reasons: her kindness, her strength, her openness and welcoming heart, her love for adventure, her gifts & talents, the ways she cheers her friends on and how she isn’t afraid of change or to let go of what she loves. Va’ dove ti porta il cuore, sweet friend. I’ll see you where you touch down next.
She marked her au revoir to her Saugatuck home with a photo shoot. I am grateful I was there to capture that moment and space.

When one of your oldest and closest friends calls you up to share her promotion 🎉 and wants to get updated headshots, you can’t imagine the joy (& the scheming) that fills your heart!
Karn is one of those humans who creates so naturally. Her art and explorations are surprisingly unsurprising—I think I have that right! Whether it’s her oil paintings, sketches, her bespoke kombucha line, her scented candles (rain on pavement) in handmade pottery vessels, swearberry jam and her incredible eye for design, her drive and talent always blows me away! I’m surprised but not surprised! She’s the definition of a renaissance woman. (Karn, I’ll never forget you teaching me how to see/draw perspective sitting with me in my high school bedroom.)
I have so many great memories with this Swedish babe and am grateful for our friendship throughout the years. If you know her, you get it. If you love art, design and creativity, follow her IG page. I promise you won’t be disappointed.
