My passion for photography started at a young age. In fact, my grandfather was a wedding photographer in Pittsburgh, and some of my earliest memories are of spending time with him in his home darkroom. I still have all
of his old cameras, and I like to think that I’m carrying on our family tradition. I love photography in general because of its ability to place the viewer in a particular time and space. I chose to focus on wedding and engagement photography because I love the idea that in creating these images, I’m creating material, tangible expressions of love. I enjoy going to weddings, and I’m honored that so many couples have allowed me to be a part of these milestone moments. One of my favorite parts of my job is the process of translating my clients’ visions into beautiful images. Now for a little about me. I am a former Marine, and I’m currently in the Army Reserves. I'm currently enrolled in the New York Institute of Photography. I got married in 2015, and I have to thank my beautiful wife, Julie, for encouraging me to take the step from hobbyist to professional. We don’t have any kids (yet), but our two cats and dachshund are usually my first models whenever I get a new lens, camera body, or other photography gear. My wife and I are certified scuba divers. So I even get to enjoy underwater photography! We recently bought an old farmhouse that was built in 1899, so fixing up our new home is keeping us busy.
