Golden hour + disc golf = a perfect summer combo.

I snapped this aerial shot a couple weeks ago during sunset. You can see players at the top of the big hill launching discs toward the basket at the bottom—such a cool view of the entire hole from above.

I love how aerial photography gives a whole new perspective to familiar places like this.

Photographed a super fun event last week — the Metro Bus 36th Annual Local Bus Roadeo at SCSU! 🚌🎉

Their bus operators took on a course full of tight turns, tricky cones, and real-world driving challenges — all in a friendly competition to show off their skills behind the wheel.

These events are always a blast to photograph and a great way to appreciate the people who help keep our communities moving.

Had a great time at the 20th Century Car Show last week at the Stearns County History Museum! Over 40 classic cars, live music, food, beer, and a whole lot of nostalgia made for a perfect summer evening. I brought my camera (of course) and grabbed a few shots of the vintage rides on display.

Tried something a little different with the photo edits this time — not my usual style, but I wanted a fun, bright, spring feel to match the energy of the show.

🛻✨ Had some fun creating a custom car poster using two photos I took of this beautiful 1956 Chevrolet 3200 Series Stepside Truck.

One of the things I enjoy most about automotive photography is turning the photos into something more—something that captures the personality of the vehicle. Posters like this are just another way to bring your ride to life.

Looking forward to creating more like these. Hot rods, classics, customs—if it’s got character, I’m in.

Okay, who’s ready to fast-forward to summer? 🌞🌸

Right now, it’s the middle of February, nearly -20°F, and everything outside is frozen solid. So, let’s take a little mental vacation! I took these aerial shots of Munsinger Gardens on a perfect August morning—blue skies, colorful flowers, and not a single ice scraper in sight.

I love how aerial photography gives a whole new perspective on places we visit all the time. But for now, I’ll just be dreaming of warm days, green trees, and the sound of fountains instead of crunching snow under my boots.

Creative Challenges + Family Fun = Sweet Memories (and Smoothies!) 🍓🍊🍍

This week’s 52Frames.com photography challenge was “What I Eat,” and it turned into a fun family activity! The boys were excited to break in the new blender we got for Christmas, so we made it a smoothie day. 🍹

Kashton and I headed to the grocery store, grabbed some fresh fruits, and spent the afternoon creating different smoothie recipes together. Watching them pick their own ingredients and take turns blending was a blast—and a perfect reminder of how creativity extends beyond photography!

For the challenge, I set up a snowy scene on the deck with one of our smoothies surrounded by fresh-cut fruit. The snow added a nice touch, but I forgot to include the whipped cream I bought just for the shot! 😅 So back out I went for round two, and it was worth it. The final photo is a blend (pun intended) of two shots combined in Photoshop for the best result.

I also snapped a photo of Kashton enjoying his smoothie. It’s a moment that makes me smile every time I look at it.

Big thanks to 52Frames for inspiring me to pick up my camera each week and encouraging me to experiment with new ideas. And an even bigger thanks to my boys for making this challenge extra special!

📸 Exciting Milestone! 📸

I recently received my first issue of Business Central magazine as a new member of the Chamber of Commerce, and flipping through it turned into an unforgettable moment!

This month's feature highlights the upcoming Central MN Farm Show, and right in the center of the magazine is a full-page ad for Farmers and Merchants Bank featuring a photo I captured of a local farm family on their beautiful property. Seeing my work take up a whole page was very exciting—and a little relieving too because the photo looks fantastic in print!

A big thank you to Julie Berling at Farmers & Merchants State Bank, MN for trusting me with this project. It was a privilege to photograph this wonderful family for such an exciting feature. Also, thank you to Saint Cloud Area Chamber of Commerce for putting together this great magazine and supporting local businesses and putting on events like the Central Minnesota Farm Show!
