❤️💍A private, intimate wedding ceremony on a gorgeous 🐝❤️honey bee apiary🥰, Happy Hive Honey Bottling Company & Learning Center a beautiful Nebraska summer morning, sun glowing, sunflowers, and so much love to even begin to describe … a moment that truly takes your breath away. ❤️
These two… Kent and Amanda Shaw… share a pure & genuine love that you can feel just being near them. Photographing weddings is absolutely indescribable, it’s one of those beautiful moments that you can see God’s hand in it all, the entire life journey leading to that sacred moment, the covenant of marriage. ❤️💍🙏

❤️⛈️Sometimes in life, storms roll in suddenly & heavy rain pours down hard. Just when we about called off this family session, we decided to go out and dance in the rain😍☔️ ❤️We waited out the storm, (which they will always eventually pass) and then, the sun peeked out under the dark clouds to give us the most glorious sunset glow and stunning rainbow to bask in. 🌅🌈❤️😍Holding tight to your loved ones in the storms and rain, chasing the sunshine that we know will come, dancing.. being silly, laughing & loving hard through it all. This session was absolutely beautiful, so meaningful, and personal - this family is very precious to me; their beautiful hearts and genuine love are inspiring. This session reminded me- storms will come for us all, but they will pass… hold onto your loves hard, dance in the rain… & don’t lose heart- sunny days are coming. ❤️❤️❤️

❤️This senior session was one for the books🤩😍Lexi brought her beautiful, unique vision and we had a blast! She has a personality that radiates joy, love, and authenticity. When she whipped out her Bible and Twilight books to include, it just made my heart leap! That’s the kind of eclectic vibe I can totally relate to and create some incredible, meaningful photographic stories. Whimsical, deep, and glittery … (just like Edward and Bella😁🙌) Lexi’s beauty shines brightly through her eyes, her smile, and contagious fun energy. Absolutely perfect, in every sense of the word ❤️ Beyond grateful to be given the opportunity to photograph this huge milestone for her 🙏😊

🥰Summer evenings on the farm; lush green grass, and photographing one of the most beautiful families around…. talk about a perfect day! 🥰😊 Capturing family photos are among my most favorite sessions to do… the giggles, playing, exploring, loving, and just embracing each other… I can’t think of anything more profound than that ❤️Thank you so much Lezlee Layne for allowing me to share the evening with you & your amazing family, and trusting me to capture some sweet memories, it truly is an immense honor & I am very grateful! ❤️

🤩❤️I’m back on the photog train, and it feels so, so good! 🥰
This was my first session “back in the game” after many years, and it was perfect, in every way possible. I’ve waited to share these photos because it was used as a very special “announcement” of their beautiful upcoming baby AND gender reveal to their family members😍💙. I was given permission and I couldn’t wait to fill the feed with their beauty and love! ❤️
Not only that, but this particular session filled my heart and fueled my soul in ways I can’t begin to express. Zeke is my oldest son’s best friend, since they were babies. His family was and is beyond precious to me. Tara, the beautiful mama-to-be is absolutely stunning!!Everything about her- her genuine kindness, positivity, and s***k are literally unmatched. The love between these two… well I think it is clearly evident in their photos ❤️ Their love is so pure and shines so bright that could light up the sky🥰 The way they fell into each other’s arms, how they looked at each other, smiled, laughed, and truly had fun together… well, it is inspiring❤️ This new baby 💙boy💙 is so very loved, and Zeke and Tara Cothern are going to be the best and most loving parents!💙

❤️For a long time, photography has been more than just taking pictures for me…
I love building relationships with people, being allowed in to a very special glimpse of a beautiful story to capture priceless memories. It’s a very humbling and inspiring privilege.

For me, doing photography has been about holding onto the moments that pass too quickly.
The way your child fits in your arms right now.
The way your family laughs together when no one is trying too hard. 🥰
The quiet, in-between moments that don’t feel big at the time—but looking back, end up meaning everything.❤️

Over the years, life has changed, seasons have shifted… and for a while, I stepped away. Focusing on my entrepreneurial journey of opening a coffee shop and retail store.

But I’ve missed the personal connections and creative outlets in portrait photography. I feel a “pull” to come back—to tell stories, to capture connection, to preserve what matters most— and that never really left 😊❤️

That’s where Round Valley Roots Photography was born 🌿

This isn’t just a new name…
For me, it’s a return to my “why” I began this journey since the very beginning.

I can’t wait to come back to creating images that feel like home.
