I took my new Canon R3 to Lawrenceburg last weekend for the Justin Owen Memorial. First night out on dirt with mirrorless and loved the results.

Made a quick run down to Caraway Speedway for the North South Shootout with the CARS Tour finales for the Pros and Late Model Stocks as well as the 602 and Tour modifieds. Going to have to make some trips south next season.

I tried my hand at a new event and shot the 500 Miles To Memphis 20th Anniversary show at Southgate House Revival. I enjoy live music as much as racing and ended up having just as much fun behind the camera. Thanks to Ryan and the band for letting me hang out and try the new discipline.

One of my favorite events of the season was last weekend and despite a blown brake line on the way to Chillicothe, I was able to salvage a good weekend in the forests. Shots from the Southern Ohio Forest Rally are at the link here. I highly recommend seeing an ARA event live.
