Looking forward to photographing again in Costa Rica this week!!

Here’s a tip on their big red eyes:
👀
Their bright red eyes are a defense mechanism called startle coloration.
When disturbed, they suddenly open their eyes to startle predators, giving them time to escape.

📷Here’s to hoping we see this Doll again in the rainforest & she isn’t startled by the camera lens.
