Over the years, I’ve built a large studio collection of newborn wraps, knit layers, and headbands in a wide variety of color palettes to fit most styling needs.

Families love to browse our studio’s wall of wraps and styling pieces. Although many families trust me to choose which colors, layers, and textures will go together best. They simply tell me a color palette that they love or colors they’ve used in the nursery, and we go from there! I thoughtfully layer textures, fabrics, and accessories together from an artistic perspective to create a look that feels cohesive and timeless.

She's spunky and confident and funny.
She thinks her big brother hung the moon.
She loves making friends, and she skipped into her classroom every single day with a smile on her face.
She's imaginative and independent and a leader, and so many other wonderful things.

And today she graduated from her very first year of preschool.

Tiny Graduate Minis are in full swing over here, and I am loving these confetti-filled celebrations in the studio!

One of the things I love most about newborn photography is designing a session that feels timeless, personal, and beautifully cohesive for every family that walks into the studio. While I love using all white and plenty of neutrals in newborn sessions, I also have families that enjoy a pop of color in some of their baby’s portraits. To keep the focus on your sweet little newborn, I choose soft and muted colors, using a monochromatic styling approach.

It means the world to me when families continue to choose me to document life’s most important moments and memories. Seeing Grant’s big brother step into his new role was incredibly sweet. Toddlers around two years old are in such a fun season of life, and becoming a sibling is a huge adjustment, which can make photos tricky. No matter what, we always make it work!

Between games, snacks, silly noises, a few strategic bribes, lots of patience, and occasionally a touch of Photoshop magic, we create beautiful sibling and family portraits. The key is never forcing a photo or perfection. Instead we meet little ones where they are and make the experience feel fun and safe for them.
