MIDGE | Rainbow Session
I met sweet little Midge last year, almost to the day. Cancer had taken its toll but as the pink heart bandage suggests, it wasnāt keeping her spirits down. We walked around the Stockade, took way too many photos (is there really such a thing!) and wrapped up the morning with a pup cupš¦
Sadly, Midge crossed the rainbow bridge not long after our time togetherš
Iām sharing her images nowāa year laterābecause I think it shows us that everyone grieves differently and thatās perfectly ok. Some parents are able to choose their images right away. Midgeās parents needed a year before they could choose her portraits. That is what grief can look like for some of us. There is no set timeline, no specific way to feel or depth of emotion. We just need unfettered timeš¤
