The 90s kid in me saw a ‘David the Gnome’ mushroom on the edge of the vineyard and I could not pass up the opportunity to utilize it somehow. Sadly, no Swift sightings. I did however, get about 15 mosquito bites in the process of setting this up.

This has been a summer full of proposals all around Lake George. From Lake George Village to Ticonderoga and everywhere in between. I feel so lucky to have this lake as such a staple in my life and happy place. Especially when I meet so many people who are here visiting - and then I get to hear all the stories about why Lake George is also so special to THEM. Here’s my pitch📢: Book a portrait session but don’t dress up. Have a normal summer day. Preserve the memories and not the performance of portraiture. Remember your loved ones how they are without any intervention. Do a fun activity with your kids or spouse or best friends. Don’t curate it. Ditch Pinterest. Resist the urge to scroll for inspo on social media. Laugh. Relax your smiles. Don’t think about your “bad side”. Just live.

I will capture it. 📸

What you will end up with will feel like a living memory that is cinematic and uniquely yours.

My niece Noah turned 2 today, and as you can see - zero personality to speak of. I have said from the beginning, it’s my job to make sure she is as weird as possible, and I think I’m doing a great job. She’s even obsessed with dogs. I’ll get her a we**ie dog when she turns 3 😉
