Around 7pm the sun dropped behind the tree line and the string lights came on.
Warmth, excitement, and a reverence for the home they’d built together.
This is golden hour on film and I will never get tired of it. Upstate New York.

Laura & Kyler celebrated in the backyard of their late 1700s home a place they restored themselves, a place that already held their whole story. I just got to witness it. Like actually home. The land they know, the views they see every day, just north of the Great Sacandaga Lake.

Every part of this day was built by them and the people they love you can feel it in every frame.

Steph started out as my trainer at my day job. As we spent many hours together we bonded and became fast friends.
She’s one of those friends who I feel like I’ve known forever, like we’ve know each other in another life.

She asked me to not only photograph her and Dale’s elopement but to officiate it. These were taken in my backyard where we married them.
What a joy it is to celebrate my friend’s love and deep happiness. What a honor to be the one who married them.
Love you both dearly. 🖤
